Students also spend time on learning.com honing their touch typing skills. Emphasis is placed on using the correct fingering and building muscle memory so that speed and accuracy increases.
We participated in Hour of Code using the code.org website. Students have the opportunity to select modules that explore computer science and specifically programming. There are a variety of levels available so that all have the chance to be challenged.
Using PowerPoint, students created a presentation on the Civil Rights Movement. Each student was responsible for researching five cities involved with this important time in our history. At the end of the project students presented their project to the class.
